From One Truck to an Island-Wide Network
CargoLink JA launched in Kingston with a handful of vetted drivers and a straightforward promise: transparent pricing, real tracking, and a driver who actually turns up. Word spread fast among small business owners tired of unreliable moving trucks and delivery services.
Today the network covers all fourteen parishes, connecting customers who need something moved with independent drivers earning consistent income on their own schedule. Every job booked through the app — every box, sofa, and pallet — is tracked from pickup to delivery.
We're still a Jamaican company, built for Jamaican roads, run by people who grew up navigating this island's traffic, terrain, and trust required to get it right.
Meet The Founder
Earl Madden
Earl Madden immigrated to the United States in the early 2000s with a strong work ethic and a determination to build a better future. He started in construction before joining P.C. Richard & Son in New York City as a delivery helper, and over the next five years learned every part of the last-mile delivery business — the critical link between retailers, shippers, and the customer waiting at the door. That experience became the foundation of his career in logistics.
After relocating to Florida, Earl worked alongside independent delivery contractors to learn the local market and transportation network, then founded City Island Logistics, where he secured a FedEx SmartPost contract and got his first real look at the operational and business side of the industry. Over nearly a decade he expanded his fleet, managed warehouse operations for a major logistics company, and built a reputation for reliability and efficiency — until Amazon's shift to handling its own deliveries hit the business hard.
Rather than walk away, Earl used that experience to launch E.M.G. Concepts — the Earl Madden Group — alongside his brother and a team of lifelong friends who shared his vision and work ethic. Together they've kept building on more than 24 years of combined logistics experience.
Today, Earl is bringing that same proven model home to Jamaica through CargoLink JA. Jamaica has tremendous potential, but its logistics and last-mile delivery infrastructure still has room to grow — and CargoLink JA is his answer: the systems, efficiency, and operational expertise he built in South Florida, reapplied to create a more reliable, modern, customer-focused logistics network across the island.
